Averill Park is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in Rensselaer County, New York, United States. The population was 2,117 at the 2010 census.

The community is named after land owner James Averill[citation needed]. Averill Park is located within the Town of Sand Lake on Route 43. The community is south of a triangle-shaped lake called Crystal Lake and is east of the hamlet of West Sand Lake.
