Babol University of Medical Sciences (BUMS) (Persian: دانشگاه غلوم پزشکی بابل), is a medical sciences university in the city of Babol, Mazandaran province, Iran.

It was founded originally as a school for laboratory technicians in 1962, and was elevated to university status in 1985.

Currently there are more than 2300 students in all faculties. The university operates 6 hospitals.

  • Midwifery school
  • Paramedical school (founded in 1962)

The dental faculty is one of only two schools in Iran that trains students for Dental Nursing Associate degrees.
