Big Bend of the Colorado State Recreation Area is a state park unit of Nevada, USA, on the Colorado River in southern Clark County. It was created in 1996, a newer state park, in the Southern Nevada Region in the Nevada State Parks system.

Geography

Big Bend of the Colorado State Recreation Area is located in the Lower Colorado River Valley, just south of the town of Laughlin.

Recreation

The recreation area, located directly across the Colorado River from Bullhead City, Arizona, offers camping, fishing, picnicking and a boat launch. Four miles of developed trails were opened in 2009.
