Blanzat is a commune in the Puy-de-Dôme department in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in central France.
Geography
It is located about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) north of Clermont-Ferrand, within both the former French province of Auvergne and the former modern region of Auvergne.
