Bolivia–Peru relations refers to the current and historical relationship between Bolivia and Peru. The two countries fought the War of the Pacific and were united as the Peru-Bolivian Confederation from 1836 to 1839.
In 2010, Peruvian President Alan García agreed to allow Bolivia to build a port south of Peru's port of Ilo.[1]
