Template:Geobox Bušovce is a village and municipality in Kežmarok District in the Prešov Region of northern central Slovakia.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 713 metres and covers an area of 6.653 km². It has a population of about 225 people.[citation needed]

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1286. Its first name had been Stragar, later it had been known under the name Buschendorf.

Economy and infrastructure

Most important sighseeings are evangelical neo gothic and Roman Catholic gothic churches and a baroque manor house.
