A church dedicated to the local St. Aiden is located in the town. It is approximately 8 mins drive or 9.0 km via the N54 to the border with Northern Ireland.

Bus Éireann Expressway Route 30 (Donegal-Enniskillen-Cavan-Dublin Airport-Dublin), jointly operated with McGeehan Coaches, serves Butlersbridge.[1] Leydons Coaches route 930 (Enniskillen-Swanlinbar-Ballyconnell-Belturbet-Cavan) also serves Butlersbridge. [2] The stops are located on the N3 Bypass.
