CKOA is a Canadian FM radio station, broadcasting at a frequency of 89.7 MHz in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. Owned and operated by the Coastal Community Radio Cooperative, the station broadcasts a community radio format branded as The Coast 89.7.The Coast 89.7 is on the air with full programming including news and "Cape Breton's Best Music Mix" a great music mix from the east coast and around the world. To get your morning started tune in to Doug Saunders 6-10 and Jennifer Ludlow is first in Cape Breton with the latest information from the Coast 89.7 Newsroom. Bill MacNeil hosts the midday show from 10am-2pm and Dennis Chipman handles the afternoon drive show, 2pm-6pm, while Ron Neville keeps you informed from the Coast 89.7 Newsroom from 2pm-8pm. The young Greg Hanna, rounds out the daily schedule at the end of your day, with his Coastal evening program from 6pm to midnight.
