History

The House has been privately owned[by whom?] ever since the Domesday Book of 1086 until around the time of the War,[which?] when it was passed on to the British Army to be used as a maternity Hospital.[1] Over 100 babies have been delivered in Marlborough Hall.

The House has changed hands within the Army several times; having been used by the Officers' Association (OA), and the former Women's Royal Army Corps (WRAC),[1] before it was handed over for use as a training college for the Cadet Forces of the British Armed Forces in 1957, opening for its first course in 1959.[1] The College has remained with the Cadet Forces ever since.

Location

CTC Frimley Park is located on a large site immediately to the south west of Frimley Park Hospital, situated near Junction 4 of the M3 motorway[2] near Camberley in Surrey.
