Category:Archaeology of Central Africa
Archaeology in the region of Central Africa, as defined by the UN (Angola, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Republic of the Congo, Sao Tome and Principe, and any other islands off the coast). As of now, certain countries lack categories to add to this one. Please note this category is intended for Archaeological cultures, industries, complexes (archaeological phenomena which share key traits but are evidently culturally distinct), or other traditions/complexes; it is not intended for individual Archaeological sites, which would accordingly go into the "Archaeological Sites of Central Africa" category.
Put differently, an article describing the Diy-Gid-Biy complex would be classified under this category, whereas an article which specifically describes the site of DGB-1 would be classified under the Archaeological Sites category.
