I advisedly named this page "copyright scholars" rather than "copyright academics" to pick up those who do scholarship outside the academy. However I recognize that could be controversial ... Another potential issue are those whose scholarship is principally oriented toward copyright (e.g., Jane Ginsburg) vs. those whose scholarship is principally oriented toward a neighboring field (e.g., Eugene Volokh, a First Amendment scholar who has done work on copyright).

Regardless, this category or one like it helps pull out some of the individuals are are active in one way or another with copyright law but who are not, themselves, "copyright law". LQ 16:27, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
