[edit]Does anyone have thoughts on how this category should be organized? Right now, the organization is pretty terrible, and it's not clear what is even being organized.
Part of the problem is that "fashion" has two meanings: 1) clothing/make-up/appearance (and the related industry, including models, designers, etc) and 2) history of/change in culture. Either of these would be helpful categories to have, but right now it's mainly clothing, with a little bit of random stuff mashed in. Would it be helpful to separate and possibly rename these? (Something along the lines of Fashion (clothing and appearance) and History of culture (Fashion).) It would be nice to have pages for the culture of various time periods, so that you could see at once Timeline of trends in music (1920-1929), Category:1920s fads, Category:1920s fashion, finger wave, etc. all on the same page. (Though organizing that all would be a significant undertaking!) Calliopejen 18:51, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- I think that the fashion page should be divided as a school would do**
Divided into different main secions.. then followed by sub sections!
LIKE FASHION HISTORY, FOLLOWED BY SUB SECTIONS .
I am removing the overpopulated tag I had originally put on. Good work at least on that. Daniel Case 03:52, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
As I said on WT:FASH, I will be putting Fashion films, Fashion-themed TV series and Songs about fashion into a new subcat, probably to be "Fashion in popular culture" or something like that. Daniel Case 21:42, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
