New Category: Fjords of the Pacific Northwest Coast? Fjords of British Columbia?

[edit]

I've recently created a page for the coastline of British Columbia, aka British Columbia Coast, which attempts to list all the major fjords hierarchically (they come in "family trees" is why) plus an exposition of the history and other relevant info about that coast. I've been putting the "Fjords" category on the bottom of each of them; but now I see there's e.g. Fjords of Norway, so I'm wondering if a new category for the PacNW/BC should be started.

I see Hood Canal and Portland Canal were already created before I got going on Bute, Knight, Gardner, and the other BC inlets; my BC Coast page ends at the Alaska Panhandle and the 49th Parallel, but I refer from those points to the pages on those areas; which I suppose should have their own fjords listing too.

The idea with the separate BC Coast page is the much higher profile the BC Coast plays in the consciousness/identity of British Columbia, relative to the role the geographic extension of it plays in AK, WA or in the larger US. I could have titled it Pacific Northwest Coast, and maybe that's still the way to go, but given there's already a Pacific Northwest page (which excludes BC, or rather mentions it as a "some people consider" addition, which in BC we don't consider, we know).
