Reliable data is required.

The right name for this category is 'Multi-event sports. They are sports that combine several events (event as defined in Olympic terminology: A single competition within a sport or discipline)--Nitsansh17:29, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, "Multi-discipline sports" would be better, since few people in everyday English are going to use "event" the weird way the IOC does. I've taken it to CfD, using "discipline", as "event" is just too ambiguous. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)›08:55, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
