Novelists are fiction writers?[edit]

I have a question about the usage of how Wikipedia uses the word novel. I was under the impression that novel is just a fancy term for "book", but after double-checking it seems that a novel is a fiction book that's particularly long. Should we change this category's name to Native American authors to reflect this definition? Nevermind, it appears that someone else had the same definition that I had. Since Category:Native American writers exist, I'm going to ask that people try to use that first. I suggest that you only put people here if they've written a novel. Not just a book, but a fiction book that's around 150 pages or more. (Ref:https://www.adazing.com/many-pages-novel/)Wacape (talk) 07:25, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
