Michael Anissimov

[edit]

Please add michael annisimov anyone? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Christine T (talkcontribs) 15:44, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There would have to be a Wikipedia article on Michael Anissimov in order for it to be listed in the Category:Transhumanists page. That being said, feel free to create one IF he is a notable person. Is he? --Loremaster (talk) 22:11, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Transhumanism is a very small movement. Pretty much any transhumanist is notable just for being a transhumanist alone. 202.180.72.179 (talk) 01:16, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's not how it works on Wikipedia. Regardless of whether an individual, group or movement is small or big, we still need reliable sources that can attest it's notability. --Loremaster (talk) 12:55, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Craig Venter?

[edit]

Craig Venter is listed as transhumanist. Is there any evidence for this? Please note that if someone expresses positive stances towards transhumanist ideas like "intelligence amplification", this is not necessary evidence that s/he identifies him/herself as a transhumanist. Such labelling without evidence could have implications (MJSL2050 (talk) 09:15, 4 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]

I strongly agree. If you see others that inappropriated listed, feel free to remove them immediately after a comment to that effect on this talk page. --Loremaster (talk) 18:36, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I mostly, killed off Category:Transhumanists in favour of the categories now under Category:Transhumanists by nationality. I wish I knew how to dynamically populate this page from there without double-tagging every article? Deku-shrub (talk) 18:45, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
