Chak Shahzad (Template:Lang-ur), is a model village/town situated in the Islamabad Capital Territory of Pakistan, situated to the south of Islamabad, the Pakistani capital. [1] Historically, the village was home to Gujjar and Awan tribesmen, but recently has seen a growth in farmhouses of the rich and wealthy from nearby Islamabad, including that of Pervez Musharaf, Makhdoom Ameen Faheem and Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudry. It has recently evolved into a mix of urban and rural population.
