Daniel McLaughlin (born 1990) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays Gaelic football with his local club Naomh Mícheál and is a member of the Donegal senior inter-county team.

With his club he has emerged from the shadows of the more experienced forwards Colm McFadden and Christy Toye to stake his place in the team.[1] McLaughlin's club reached the final of the 2011 Donegal Senior Football Championship— their first ever senior final—but lost, though McLaughlin scored during the game.[2][3]

McLaughlin's appearance as a substitute in the final was hailed as important to Donegal's historic second consecutive Ulster Senior Football Championship winning campaign of 2012.[4] A squad member during Donegal's 2012 All-Ireland winning campaign, he accompanied the team on their end-of-year holiday to Dubai.[5]
