Fictional character biography

In the current version of the Superman mythos, David Corporon is depicted as the Commissioner of the Metropolis Police Department. Corporon shares Superman's steadfast determination to rid Metropolis of crime and considers Superman his partner in this crusade. Further information on the character's back story will be revealed in later issues. In his earlier career as a member of the Metropolis Police Department, Corporon considered Commissioner James Gordon of the Gotham City Police Department to be his inspiration.
