The Battle of the Brains Trivia Challenge is a live trivia night and fundraiser for the benefit of family support programmes of the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex, taking place at the Ciociaro Club of Windsor, Ontario, every January as a the showcase event of the Society's annual Alzheimer's Awareness Month. Its inaugural event being in 2012, its attendance has grown to the point where it has exceeded 150 teams and 1,200 players, making it the largest live (In this sense, "live" means people answering the same questions, read live in the same forum, as opposed to radio contests.) and charity-run trivia fundraiser in all of North America. The questions are prepared by Windsor lawyer, Jack Ramieri, being a former contestant on "Jeopardy" and CBC's team quiz show, "Test the Nation", as well as a champion on CTV and History Television's quiz show, "TimeChase". The questions are equally divided between rock/pop music, sports, movies, television, and general academic knowledge.
