Body recomposition is an exercising strategy with an aim of increasing the muscle-to-fat ratio. In effect, body recomposition helps to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. It is a more holistic approach than to simply lose body weight or 'cutting'. General body recomposition advice suggests combining cardio and weight training, plus a balanced diet with a slight increase in protein intake.[1][2]
