Cameet Appadu (Also known as “Cam” or “Ku” or “Kushil”), born on November 3rd 1992, on the island of Mauritius (Currently ranked as the happiest country in Africa), is a writer, author, public speaker, positive influencer, pioneer, spiritual leader, entrepreneur, brand developer & master website designer.




Currently the Founder & Creative Director of “Incredible Design Solutions” [www.incredibledesignsolutions.com] (2018-2024), a leading Web Design & Branding Agency based in New York & California, Cameet is also the Chairman of “Peacemakers” [www.peace-makers.org] (2023-2024), a non-profit organization whose mission is to help raise human consciousness and awareness. In the same spirit, Cameet also wrote “A Short Guide To Living A Happier Life”, which has inspired and the hearts & souls of hundreds.




Graduated with high honors and distinctions in Electronic Design & Multimedia from the City College of New York (2018), Cameet has consistently been an award winner and scholarship recipient from all the institutions he previously attended. Over the years, Cameet has been the recipient of the Dean’s Excellence Award (2011-2013), Endowed Scholarship For African Students (2011-2013), and has served as an executive member of the International Cultural Service Program (ICSP) and the International Student Association (ISA) at the University Of Oregon (2011-2013). Previously, he was the Public Speaker of the Student Representative Council at College Du Saint Esprit (2008), The Best Delegate of The Population & Health Commission at the Model United Nations (2009) and the Chairperson of the Millennium Development Goals Commission (2010). Additionally, Cameet was a scorer and one of the best football (soccer) players on his school team and also played for many local football (soccer) clubs on the island of Mauritius. During his school days, Cameet was also the Winner of an On-The-Spot Painting Competition at National Level organized by the Rotary Club of Mauritius, and participated in many contest and competitions such as The Public Speaking Competition Organized by the English Speaking Union where he was ranked up in the Top 3. Last but not the least, this talented, smart, intelligent and skilled gentleman also aced the University Of Cambridge ‘O’ Levels and ‘A’ Levels in the field of Design & Technology which was the first foundation of his studies that later propelled him to study Product Design and later Digital Design and then towards his career in Web Design & Development + Branding.



Mr Appadu’s passions and hobbies include but are not limited to Story Telling, Public Speaking, Cooking, Singing, Guitar, Traveling, Problem solving, Helping Others, Teaching, Meditating, and Breathing…

Cameet lost his father at the age of five years old and was taken care of by his mother and two elder sisters + the local Mauritian community which were all like his other mothers, sisters, aunties, uncles, grandmothers and grandfathers… Cameet also had many friends growing up, amongst which his closest cousins and friends are considered as his brothers.

His name: “Cameet” was given to him by his Father, Raj Gopalacharia Appadu, who had helped make “Information Technology” become a subject on the Island of Mauritius from the University Of Cambridge. The latter named his Son, “Cameet” after “Cambridge Information Technology”. The name was supposed to be “CAMIT”. CAM for CAMbridge, I for Information, and T for Technology. Cameet’s mother asked to change the “I” in the name to “EE” because of how it sounded and this is how ”CAMIT” became “CAMEET”.

Cameet however always likes to keep it short and simple and doesn’t want anyone to have troubles pronouncing his name so he goes by “Cam”. His goal in life is to help everyone become a better person so that the entire world can improve, person by person. He strongly believes that each individual can make a difference and that we must all encourage each other to get better by first improving ourselves and then leading by example.
