The updates prior to submission actually added more unsourced content. Looking at the references that are here, they are basically stats which cannot be used to determine notability. Reyes began Chess at age 9 due to his stepfather encouraging him to learn. By the age of 10, a friend of the family and a English Chess Federation[1] club player, Colin Fell[2] began teaching Reyes and to this day still play eachother and are still close friends.

After inactive play for 15 years, Reyes began playing chess again and was informed of a chess tournament held in Gibraltar. This is where Reyes began his friendship with Grandmaster Stuart Conquest, whom was the Director of the Gibraltar Chess Festival.[3]

Chess Career[edit]

Reyes has competed a few times in the Gibraltar Chess Festival, in rapid play tournaments in several locations in Spain, usually in Marbella which is organised by the Ajedrez Metro Club[4], at the British Chess Championship in Torquay and frequently online including in 4NCL online tournaments.
