The Warra-Dhanqo (English: Worra Danka, Somali: Ree Dhanqo, Oromo: Warra Dhanka, Amharic: ዎራ ዳንካ,) also known as Dhaqo (Wara Dhaqo), is a northern Somali clan, a sub-clan of the Jaarso Dir clan family. They are the traditional holders of the Jaarso Sultanate since the 16th century. they constitute the largest sub-clan of the Jaarso and even the Ali Madahweyne Dir. The Dhanqa are divided into two major sub-clans: the Iggi (Igge) and Akaako. They are traditionally nomadic pastoralists, merchants and skilled poets.
