Lee Richards is an American Musician, Singer, Songwriter and Producer who is best known as the original guitar player for the rock band Godsmac[1]k. He returned to write the music, and co write vocals for the hit "Touche" and tour with the band on the "An Evening With Godsmack" run. Lee formed the band Dropbox (Signed to Universal/Republic Records) the band experienced radio success with the single "Wishbone". Lee was the major songwriter for the band and co produced the album with Legendary Producer Dave Jerden (Talking Heads, David Byrne, Frank Zappa, Mick Jagger, The Rolling Stones, Alice In Chains). While Dropbox was on tour with Godsmack Tony Rombola and Lee began writing what would become Another Animal consisting of Tony Rombola, Shannon Larkin and Robbie Merrill (Godsmack) Whit Crane (Ugly Kid Joe) and Lee Richards (Godsmack, Dropbox) they released their self titled album, had a radio hit with "Broken Again" and toured with Alter Bridge. After Another Animal Whit and Lee formed Richards/Crane. They recorded and released the album "World Stand Still". "The Black and White" single a duet with Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge, Slash) found success in America as well as Europe. In 2015 they toured Europe and played Download festival at Donnington. After tour Lee was given a track by Wurzel (late Motorhead guitarist) and wrote what became Children of Disease which was featured on "Leader of Down Cascade Into Chaos" Featuring Whit, Lemmy, and Phil Campbell. Following that release, Phil Campbell (Motorhead Phil Campbell and the Bastard sons) sent Lee a track and he wrote for what became "Dancing Dogs(Love Survives) featured on Phil Campbell "Old Lions Still Roar" album. Lee has currently finished his first solo debut album entitled "Lee Richards And Friends" to be released later this year, which was written performed and produced by Lee.
