Loving Cats Worldwide is an Independent Cat Organization created by Steven Meserve. Loving Cats is a cat registry for pedigreed cats and household pets. They are producers of events named the 'CATstravaganza' across the United Kingdom, United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Loving Cats' mission is to raise awareness for rescue organizations and cats in need, whilst promoting ethical breeding and the preservation of cat breeds.

History[edit]

Loving Cats Worldwide began in London in 2015 as 'LondonCats' and produced notable events during this period such as Tobacco Dock in East London[1][2],Sandown Park in Surrey, UK,[3] and Crystal Palace in London for the 150th Anniversary of the first cat show in Crystal Palace in 1871 by Harrison Weir.[4]

Activity[edit]

In June 2022 Loving Cats launched their Independent Organization that sanctions Charter Events as well as their HQ CATstravaganzas to create their annual Event Calendar.[5] Featuring recurring activity in the UK, California,[6] Washington,[7] Philadelphia[8] and Florida[9] and more. Their Expositions feature an LCWW International Cat Competition, well attended by the public, businesses and cat competitors.

Social Media[edit]

Loving Cats Worldwide and Steven Meserve have both found acclaim in their own right across popular social media channels. Videos featuring Steven Meserve judging the cats entered into competition at the events have amassed millions of views on TikTok, invigorating this historic hobby with a modern take.
