Uday Pratap Singh 209 Kargahar Vidhansabha

Uday Pratap Singh is an Indian politician and currently he's State General Secretary of Bihar Bahujan Samaj Party. He contested in Bihar Legislative Assembly election from Kargahar Vidhansabha constituency in 2020 but lost from a small margin. Before coming in politics Mr. Uday was in Government services in Indian Railways, Danapur Division Bihar from 1999-2019. He chooses this political path because he was inspired from his father who was a well known politician. He is the son of Ex Health Minister in Government of Bihar Late Shri Ramdhani singh, who started his journey from 1970's, he was 5 times winning MLA(Member Of Legislative Assembly) from Dinara Vidhansabha and Kargahar Vidhansabha and 1 time MLC (Member of legislative Council). He was a sitting MLA from dinara from 1990-2005 and from Kargahar in 2010. He became Health minister in 2014 under Chief Minister of Bihar Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi of JDU and then under Shri Nitish Kumar of JDU in 2015.

Political Career

Uday Pratap Singh was interested in politics from very young age but due to his job he didn't pursue in that path, later in 2020 when he leave his job to pursue his dream and to follow his father's foot print, he contested in 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections from Bahujan Samaj Party and got 47,321 votes and lost his election. In 2021 due to his hard work Party promoted him and make Bihar State General Secretary of Party. From then he's preparing his way for Bihar General Assembly Election 2025.
