Rama Prosad Banerjee is an Indian academic, author, and management professional. He is the Chairman and Director of the Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (EIILM), Kolkata. Known for integrating ethical and Vedic principles into modern management practices, Banerjee's research includes leadership education, ethics, and organizational behavior.
Early Life and Education
Banerjee completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Ph.D. from the University of Calcutta, focusing on financial management and organizational behavior. He later pursued post-doctoral research at Stockholm University, where he explored the application of ancient philosophies to leadership and ethics.
Banerjee has held teaching and leadership positions at several prestigious Indian institutions, including the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta, the University of Calcutta, Bangalore University, Burdwan University, and Utkal University. His academic influence extends internationally, as he has served as a visiting lecturer at renowned universities such as Pennsylvania State University, the University of Hamburg, Stockholm University, and Northwestern University in Switzerland.
