Design[edit]

The canvas is divided into blue, white and red stripes in the ratio of 2:1:1, respectively. In the center of the flag is the image of the coat of arms of the Rusyns. The aspect ratio of the flag is 2:3. The blue color symbolizes the sky, a perspective image of the panorama of the Carpathian Mountains, hope for a better future, prudence, freshness of spirit and body, endless work. White — the traditional peacefulness, hospitality, benevolence, tolerance, peace, moral and physical purity, high culture and natural pacifism of the Rusyns. Red is everything alive, beautiful, the aesthetic ideal of the Rusyns, a symbol of revitalization, manifestations of human health[2]
