Saint Constantine of Mytilene

Constantine, whose Muslim name is unknown, was born to Turkish Muslim parents in the village of Psilometopon, on the island Mytilene. According to Christian sources he converted to Christianity and was martyred on June 2nd, 1819 in Constantinople (Istanbul). He is venerated as a Christian saint, and is commemorated as a martyr on June 2nd.
