Ștefan Andrei Țale (born 28 March 2008), known as simply Stefan Tale, is a Romanian-born Australian tuba soloist and musician.
Early life
[edit]Stefan Tale was born in Bucharest, Romania in 2008, and moved to Melbourne, Australia in 2011, when he was 3 years old.
Career
[edit]Stefan Tale began playing the tuba in 2021, at the age of twelve, at his school in Melbourne, Australia, and later joined many school and outside bands. His concert engagements include performances with bands such as the Mckinnon Secondary College Orchestra, Ovenden Band, Australian Youth Band and younger school bands. Tale is also a member of City of Glen Eira Brass Band, where he is the youngest player in the band.[1]
In 2023, he made his higher level tuba playing visible at Methodist Ladies' College (MLC). He studied under the euphonium and tuba player Tracy Videon. Tale's national career began in 2023 when he was playing with the Australian Youth Band in Melbourne.
Stefan Tale is known for his performances and solo works in and out of his school.
Australian Youth Band
[edit]Tale is an active member of the Australian Youth Band, since joining in March 2023. In the band, he has performed in their 2023 "30 hour music marathon" and their 2023 annual concert.
