Sushma Adhikari ( Nepali: शुष्मा अधिकारी born 1990) is a Nepalese actress and a professional model who works predominantly in Nepali films. She has appeared in numerous music videos, television commercials, print ads, and has acted in several Nepali and Bhojpuri movies.
Early Life and Background
[edit]Sushma Adhikari was born on December 3, 1990, in Kailali, Nepal, to Ganga Dhar Adhikari and Manu Kumari Adhikari. She completed her schooling at Panchodaya Higher Secondary School, Nepal, and earned her undergraduate degree from Kathmandu University. Sushma was also a talented badminton player but chose to pursue a career in showbiz instead.
Career
[edit]Sushma Adhikari began her career as a model, featuring in several music videos. She started her modeling journey with the song "Rog Ho Ki Dosh Ho " and has since appeared in over 200 music videos.
She made her cinematic debut with the Nepali film Anautho Prem Katha , directed by Kanchan Shahi. Although the film did average business at the box office, it paved the way for her subsequent success. She gained significant recognition with films such as Pipal, Deewana 2 , and Jay Madesh. Her performance in Jay Madesh was particularly well-received by audiences in the Tarai region of Nepal, establishing her as a notable figure in the industry.
