Thanes Wongyannava (born June 22 1957) is a Thai academic who is a professor of political science at the Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University with specialty and interests in political philosophy, sociology, history of ideas, and postmodernism.
Career
[edit]He is also an editor of Ratthasatsarn, or the Political Science Magazine of the Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University, and writes a column on music and film in Siamrath Weekly Review under the pen name "Thana Wongyannavet", which is a pun on his first and last names. Thanes also has a Youtube channel called 'Satta' on Youtubes, he also co-hosts a program called 'In Relationships' with Kunchorn Na Ayutthaya on The Cloud channel, which invites people to talk about a variety of topics.
