please revise the info of Debashish Chatterjee's Fulbright fellowship. ask for evidence or delete that information because I have serious doubt about his fellowship.
Many of colleagues at IIM Kozhikkode have written complaints against Chatterjee because
1. He gifted the political leaders to get his position, despite the fact that he does not First class in his Master degree, a minimum criteria to become IIM Director. As per the Govt and IIM rule, a Professor needs to have minimum 3 years experience, to be eligible to become IIM Director. He became IIM director violating this rule by canvassing political leaders during Congress rule, even though he did not even have 2 years experience as full professor.
2. He used IIM financial resources and channels like social media to promote his books.
3. He recruited his local language people from West Bengal state as majority of faculty members of IIM, to get their support during critical time.
4. He is not eligible for Director position because he does not have a Doctoral / Masters degree in Management. Jimsocial (talk) 06:16, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Jimsocial According to Wikipedia's guidelines, a university director or vice chancellor is generally considered eligible for a Wikipedia page. However, when searching online for the claimed education qualifications of the person you mentioned, no verifiable results were found. But, your accusations are quite straightforward but not entirely supported. If you believe this matter should be discussed further, please initiate a conversation on the appropriate Wikipedia forum, such as talk page of NACADEMICS. Chatterjee does not have a Ph.D in Management. The information given on the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikkode is wrong because he is the politically appointed Director (boss) of that institute and he can write anything he wants on his institute website. Jimsocial (talk) 02:31, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Interestingly, shortly after our discussion, Chatterjee's profile page on IIM Kozhikode's website was updated with the qualifications he self-claimed. Up until February 2024, his official page had not been updated with this information. While this appears suspicious, there is little we can do about it. Another IIM director possesses questionable qualifications, Dheeraj Sharma (professor). You have the option to bring up the matter regarding IIM on NACADEMICS' talk page. I believe this warrants a more extensive discussion. Charlie (talk) 07:51, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Deb Chatterjee appears not to have a Ph.d in Management He is the boss of his institute where he has claimed / wrongfully written that he has a Ph.D in Management.
please check this information with University of Pune website / university from where he has got a Ph.D in Psychology/ humanities and correct the information. Ask for the ph.d certificate from Chatterjee for verification Jimsocial (talk) 00:10, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Jimsocial Wikipedia is intended for constructive contributions, and personal attacks are not appropriate here. I kindly ask that you refrain from engaging in such behavior. If you have doubts about the validity of someone's degrees, I suggest you to contacting the university to verify them, rather than requesting us to do so on your behalf. It would be helpful if you could provide a credible reference supporting your claim. Until then, I respectfully request that you refrain from making edits on this page that could be construed as attacks. Should such edits occur, I may need to bring the matter to the attention of the WP:ANI for resolution. Let's work together cooperatively and avoid unnecessary conflicts.
