Ian.Kirkland76 - I've reformatted the first and last. It can be a bit complicated. Give me a shout if you need any help. KJP1 (talk) 18:11, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you - your response is very helpful. I will edit inline references as you indicate. However the lack of citations in the paras you mention concern me as those paragraphs contain material that is inherently not citable but is important. For example Firth graduated from the University of Bristol in Civil Engineering but how do I cite that? I have provided Wiki links to the relevant bodies but that doesn't reference his actual graduation does it? But I know it is true that he graduated since I was his tutor at the University at the time. My general difficulty is how to cite material you know to be true but isn't citable through published material? Guidance on that point would be most welcome.
Ian.Kirkland76 - "how to cite material you know to be true but isn't citable", one of Wikipedia's perennial challenges for new editors! The basic answer is you can't. Not only must the material be cited, to demonstrate Notability, it has to be cited to allow readers to Verify it. In short, that you know it to be true isn't sufficient for the world's biggest online encyclopedia, and its fifth most visited site. It has to be demonstrably true, through citations. But no worries. He's a worthy subject and we can certainly sort the references to enable it to be accepted as a draft. I've do some work on it tomorrow. All the best. KJP1 (talk) 20:24, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ian.Kirkland76 - Reading a bit more, he's a very worthy subject and must have an article. Do you think he would like the little bridge I wrote an article about, Monnow Bridge? KJP1 (talk) 20:37, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
