The 125 T sold in London for ₤181 13 s. 10 d. (inflation adjusted to ₤ 5361.64 currently) and the 125 TV was ₤ 187 2 s. 6 d. (₤ 5522.03 currently).[3]

The release of the 125 coincided with a boom year for the Italian motorcycle industry, and Ducati sold 10,767 motorcycles (3.5 percent of the market) in 1956. These were halcyon days, and it wouldn't be until 1992 that these sales would be matched.
