The Dudleytown Historic District, also known as Clapboard Hill is a historic district in Guilford, Connecticut, located about 1.5 miles northeast of the town center. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.[1] The district includes examples of Colonial Revival, Early Republic, and Greek Revival architecture. The area was originally the property of William Dudley, one of the original English settlers of the town of Guilford in 1639, and includes a cemetery, agricultural outbuildings, a school, and other buildings. Many of the properties are still owned by descendants of the Dudley family.[2]
