Elio Cruz is a Gibraltarian playwright, writing both in English and Llanito. He was one of the cofounders of the «Theatre Group 56» (along with Luis Azzopardi and Cecil Gomez) and author of the two most successful plays staged in Gibraltar:La Lola se va pa Londre and Connie con cama camera en el comedor, both in the 1960s.[1]
