Enga Oor Raja (English: The king of our city) is a 1968 Indian Tamil film, directed and produced by P. Madhavan under Arun Prasath Movies banner. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Jayalalithaa, Sowcar Janaki and M. N. Nambiar in lead roles. The film had musical score by M. S. Viswanathan.[1][2][3] The film was remade in Telugu as Dharma Daata with Akkineni Nageswara Rao.[4]

Plot

Sethupathi (Sivaji Ganesan) hails from a royal family and is known for his kindness and charity towards the poor. Rajangum (Nambiar), a wealthy landlord plots to take over Sethupathi's property by marrying off his son to Sethupathi's sister Gowri. Sethupathi is deceived and is forced to move out of his palatial home along with his three children [Sivaji, Nagesh, Vasantha]. He vows to become rich and take back his home at any cost. Will Sethupathi succeed in his quest?
