The 15th Eurovision Young Musicians final will be held in Vienna, Austria on May 14, 2010, during the Wiener Festwochen.

Solo candidates, aged under 20 in the year of the competition, will represent each participating EBU member state, in a preliminary semi-final round. Out of these candidates the seven best will be selected by an international jury to perform live as finalists in the show at the Rathausplatz.

The young musicians will be accompanied by the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, under the leading of the German conductor Cornelius Meister.

15 countries have been confirmed to participate in the competition, including Belarus which will make its' debut. Finland, on the other hand, has announced its' withdrawal due to financial reasons.[1] Also Ukraine and Serbia appear to withdraw from this years' competition.
