Fast + Epp is a 50-person strong structural engineering firm that was established in Vancouver, BC in 1985. The head office in Vancouver is supported by branch offices in Edmonton, New York and Seattle as well as Frankfurt, Germany. The firm is particularly known for structural engineering with timber.
History
The firm has been involved with an extensive variety of public and private projects, which include residential, commercial, institutional, and transit. It has been involved in several projects including the Richmond Olympic Oval, and the Arena Stage.[1][2]
The firm has received several awards for its projects, the most prestigious of which is the 2016 Institution of Structural Engineers Structural Awards Supreme Award for the Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre.[3][4] Awards have also been won for the VanDusen Botanical Gardens visitor center roof.
