Fortuna is an unincorporated community in western Moniteau County, Missouri, United States.[1] It is located 12 miles (19 km) southwest of California on Route 5.

A post office called Fortuna has been in operation since 1882.[2] The community was named after Fortuna, the Roman goddess of fortune.[3]
