The Fountainhead School, Surat, India, is an independent, co-educational day school, affiliated to the International Baccalaureate[1] and CIE,[2] which imparts education from pre-kindergarten through Grade 12. Fountainhead Preschool was commenced by IIT Mumbai and IIM Ahmedabad graduates, Mr. Vardan Kabra and Mrs. Ankita Diwekar Kabra. Later, they collaborated with Mr. Parag Shah for a bigger campus in Kunkuni village. The present strength of school is around 1,600 students and it is intended to expand to at least 2,300.
Admission
There is a fair and transparent procedure for admissions. Assessments and previous class results are the main criteria for the same.
Academic Curriculum
The mode for instructions is English. It provides students with the values, skills, and experiences that will allow them to be competitive applicants for university.

School activities and sports
Extracurricular activities include sports, performing arts, dance, visual arts, academic games and other interests. In IB PY, physical education is being offered as PSPE (Personal, Social & Physical Education). Accordingly, the school has divided PSPE in 3 broad strands namely:
- Active living
- Interaction
- Identity
Besides, Karate, Skating, Football, Basketball, Athletics, Ultimate Frisbee, Yoga, Volleyball, Table tennis, Fitness/ Gym training (Grade 5 Onwards) are also offered. Fountainhead has participated in national/international tournaments. The school involves students for taking CSR initiatives through various projects like learning camps for the underprivileged, Umeed ki cycle, Blood donation camps and joy of giving week.

The school campus is spread over 9.8 acres (4.0 ha) which includes a library, one swimming pool , a physical education area, computer labs,science and math labs, playgrounds, a performing arts center (including a mini-sized theater).

Staff
Ankita Diwekar Kabra (born 7 April 1980) is the Primary School Principal and Deputy Head of School at Fountainhead School.[3] Ankita grew up in the suburbs of Mumbai and completed her schooling from Cosmopolitan Education Society’s Sheth C D Barfiwala High School. She holds qualifications as a Computer Science Engineer[4] from the University of Mumbai.
