Geitastrand Church (Norwegian: Geitastrand kirke) is a parish church in the municipality of Orkdal in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The church is located in Geitastrand, along the Trondheimsfjord, about 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) north of Orkanger.[1]
The wooden church was built in 1859, and consecrated on 3 November 1859 by the local dean, Henning Junghaus Kaurin. The architect who designed the building was Christian Heinrich Grosch. The church is located in the Orkdal parish which is part of the Orkdal deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros.[2]
