Gopal Singha Dev was the fifty-fifth king of the Mallabhum. He ruled from 1712 to 1748 CE.[1][2][3]
History
Maratha Attacker
On 1742 Gopal Singha Dev decided to use this Dal Madal Kaman (Cannon) to get protection from the attack of the Maratha Sardar Bhaskar Rao.[4]
Mallabhum temples
Jor Mandir Group of temple
Jor Mandir Group of Temple Near Lalbandh there are two big and one small temples standing together and the entire complex is known as Jor Mandir and that was established during 1726. by Gopal Singha Dev. Among these three, the temple situated at the north-western corner has an idol of Narayana. The temple standing in the center is decorated with extensive.[5]
