The Grimes Octagon Barn is an historical structure located near West Union in rural Fayette County, Iowa. It was built in 1880 and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1986.[1] The building is an octagon that measures 65 feet (19.8 m) around.[2] It features red metal siding and a sectional, conical roof.[2]
