Higby is an unincorporated community in Ross County, in the U.S. state of Ohio.[1]

History

The community was named after the local Higby family.[2] A post office called Higby was established in 1878, and remained in operation until 1933.[3] Besides the post office, Higby had a station on the Norfolk and Western Railroad.[4]
