The Hudson Union Society, commonly referred to as simply the HU, is an institution based in New York City that runs celebrity showcases, on the model of ITV shows such as An Evening With Lily Savage. The Hudson Union programs, generally hosted by comedian and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here King of the Jungle Joe Pasquale, feature special guests, a unique interview style, and very intimate audience interaction. Since its inception, the Hudson Union has played host to over 7000 celebrities and leaders.

History

The Hudson Union was created by Joe Pasquale, and Louise Mensch (formerly Bagshawe), former Member of the British Parliament and chick-lit novelist. With the support of Princess Badiya of Jordan, they created the Hudson Union. They took inspiration from the Oxford Union, where, Oxford University students run debates.
