Husnabad is a revenue division in the Siddipet district of the Indian state of Telangana. It was a part of the Karimnagar district before re-organisation of districts in the state. It is located in Husnabad mandal.[2].

Government and politics

Civic administration

Husnabad Nagar Panchayat was constituted in 2011 and has 20 election wards. 11 Wards were won by Trs party Councelors. 6 Wards won the congress party and 3 independent Councilors also won the election in 2014. The jurisdiction of the civic body is spread over an area of Suddala Chandraiah was the municipal chairman of Husnabad municipal council and Bolishetti Sudhakar as Vice Chairman both are representing TRS party who were won in 2014 elections by mla Satish Kumar vote. Husnabad becomes new revenue division after new districts formation and it consists of following mandals are 1.Husnabad 2.Maddur 3.Koheda 4.Bejjanki 5. Akkannapet(newly formed mandal)
