International Nepali Dhoti and Topi Day (Nepali: अन्तराष्टिय नेपाली धोती र टोपी दिवस)[1][2] is an event celebrated by Nepali people globally on 1 January[3] of English Calendar wearing Dhaka or Bhadgaule Topi as their pride.[4] Nepalis of Madhesi and Tharu ethnicity wear Dhoti whereas all Nepali people wear Dhaka topi and Bhadgaunle topi on that day.[5]
